“Every time I pass down our hallway and see our family picture, I think of you and how happy I am that we did this! Ken passed away in June and we miss him so much. It’s lovely to see us all together in the picture. Thank you for that.”
Thank you so much for everything today, I had a great time and am really happy with your work and the photos… and I haven’t even seen the finished product yet 🙂 I just wanted to thank you for going above and beyond, I know we took a little longer than anticipated and I didn’t even think about bringing drinks, I was thinking about so many other things this completely slipped my mind – so thank you again for the wine too! I’m really looking forward to seeing the photos!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
The Vancouver Island Symphony had an exciting 14th season. Having Dirk of Heydemann Art of Photography capture our many memorable moments made it even more special for us. Dirk has that magic eye that makes his photos tell a story. He is truly a professional and we are fortunate to have him as our official photographer.
My partner Lee bid on one of Dirk’s packages at a silent auction and then gifted it to me. So glad he did. When I arrived, it was obvious that Dirk was prepared and had some great ideas for the shoot. As someone who does not enjoy getting her picture taken, I was surprised with how much fun I had. I am super happy with the end results and I know others were too as I got many compliments on the photos. I would recommend Dirk to my friends, family and colleagues.
As a professional artist in the music industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with various photographers in the last 10 years. I’ve chosen to work with Dirk for my last four shoots, and will continue to do so for years to come. Why? Three words: Professional, Consistent, and Natural. Dirk is the first Photographer that I have worked with that I feel delivers a comfortable and positive environment as well as fantastic photos! He communicates clearly, and allows me to express naturally. He has a knack for capturing the sincere and honest moments and those are the moments of life that are the most memorable.
